Overdraft Collections
The High Performance Workbench (the Workbench) provides comprehensive Collection support for overdraft operations. The first collection objective is to track NSF items and overdrawn accounts. The software is designed to support collection letters and telephone calls.
Account processing steps are defined by Bank management, e.g., a letter on the first business day overdrawn, a telephone call on the fourth day, a second letter on the seventh day, and so on. Bank management decides on appropriate trigger days and the action to be taken. Letters can be defined and revised by the Bank’s overdraft personnel.
